At Celebration Church, we believe it's never too early for a child to experience God's word and begin a relationship with Him. That's why we offer a wide array of programs to help your child grow. Celebration Kids is here to help equip you and come alongside you as you teach your Kids about Jesus. Our vision is to foster within each child a desire to discover God in a personal way, leaving an eternal imprint of God’s love on his/her life. We want to partner with parents to develop their kids’ faith.

Ages: 4 Months - 2 Years Location: Dome, Yellow Room
The toddler room is a ton of fun! Toddlers will partake in interactive songs to transition between activities, worship songs and take in a short video lesson. Our toddler room is equipped with a change station as well as a washroom so we can help your child as they move from diapers into potty training. There is a small snack provided. In this age group we focus on 3 main learning objectives (The 3 Basic Truths.) In this age group kids will learn that:
God loves me.
God made me.
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Little Kids: Pre-School
Ages: 3 - 4 Years Location: Dome, Blue Room
We begin to bring in more structure in the Blue Room, with designated play time, monthly memory verse activities, worship, bible story, craft, and snack time. Download the Parent Cue App to follow along with what your kids are learning on Sundays, throughout the week.
In this age group we focus on 3 main learning objectives (The 3 Basic Truths.) In this age group kids will learn that:

Little Kids: Kindergarten
Ages: 5 - 6 Years Location: Dome, Green Room
Kids will start in the Kindergarten room when they turn five and will stay until they go into grade one. Our Green Room follows a similar structure to the Blue Room with designated play time, monthly memory verse activities, worship, bible story, craft, and snack time. In this age group we focus on 3 main learning objectives (The 3 Basic Truths.) In this age group kids will learn that:
Kids in Grades 1-4 begin their time at church together with pre-service activities in the gym. From there they will move into our Kids Auditorium for worship, an age-relevant video lesson and connect groups. During connect groups kids will participate with their connect group leader in discussion questions and a prayer activity. After service, kids will return for play time in the gym. In this age group we focus on 3 main learning objectives (The 3 Basic Truths.) In this age group kids will learn that:
You can make wise choices.
You can trust God no matter what.
You can treat others the way you want to be treated.
Big Kids: The Loft
Ages: Grades 5 - 7 Location: Dome, Loft
Kids in grade 5-7 will begin their time together hanging out in the Loft. When service begins, they head over to the main auditorium to join the adults in Worship. Following this, they head back to the Loft for an age relevant video lesson and connect group time afterward.
In this age group we focus on 3 main learning objectives (The 3 Basic Truths.) In this age group kids will learn that:
God will never stop loving you.
Jesus knows you better than you know yourself.
You can share Jesus with others.
Celebration Kids Safety
Your child's safety is a big deal to us. In fact, it’s one of our four Celebration Kids values! We think that the church should be the safest place, and so we are careful to have procedures and policies in place to protect minors.
To ensure that safety is kept a top priority we have a thorough onboarding process for all individuals interested in being a part of our Celebration Kids team. Our goal is to do everything we can to keep our kids and leaders safe!
Our 7-step onboarding process is as follows:

Application
All leaders are required to fill out an application for insurance and safety purposes as we are working with and serving children and their families.
Reference check
Police record and intervention check
Online module training
Training will be done specifically to the role leaders will play in the environment they will serve in. Safety, policies /procedures, and culture-specific training will also be done. All volunteers must complete Plan to Protect certification. For more information on Plan to Protect, visit here!

Approval
Once someone completed all of these 7 steps they can be placed in a position of trust.
Classrooms & Supervision
To comply with insurance requirements and to provide adequate supervision for children, one of the following must be in place:
A minimum of two unrelated personnel supervising children at all times, or:
One personnel with windows having clear lines of visibility or an open door with Program Director/Celebration Kids Coordinators performing formal and informal checks.
In addition to the above requirements: Celebration Kids team members are never to be one-on-one with a child and must remain in view of other at all times. The program director and Celebration Kids Coordinators will perform formal and informal checks on classroom activities throughout the service. Celebration Kids sets ideal ratios for all age groups to ensure maximum supervision.
